Lemp Beate

I was born in Germany in a family where the love for Italy has been deep-rooted for generations. Therefore, no surprise that I spent most of my life in this fascinating country, especially in Sicily. I took an exam to become an interpreter and translator and I’ve been working in tourism since 1987. For several years I’ve been a tour escort for a major German tour operator and since 2000 I am a licensed tourist guide.
I love being in contact with people from all over the world helping them to discover our beautiful island under all its different aspects. From its cultural and artistic points of view but also its everyday life, its traditions and legends, the voices in its ancient street markets, the colours of its flowers and landscapes as well as the scents and tastes of the delicious Sicilian food.
